There’s no doubt that Adidas is one of the leading fashion brands in the world. From fashion to sports – Adidas rules it all. For 2018, they’re taking inspiration from the past and combining it with the future, as well as adidas’ most advanced technology to produce a new line of shoes designed to push the boundaries of running technology.

Introducing the updated adidas UltraBOOST and UltraBOOST X silhouettes, which features a brand new PrimeKnit construction. It is engineered for unparalleled movement, precision and fit to provide the ultimate running experience.

With the new line that’s fresh off the decks, adidas Running presents a campaign called Energy From the Ground Up that’s designed to support the new footwear and also to celebrate the raw, unfiltered emotions and energy of a runner’s journey. It aims to inspire runners with the confidence to rise and features global sports talent like South Africa’s long-distance runner Dominique Scott-Efurd, sprinter Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake and ambassador Adrienne that’s both from the UK.

Taking inspiration from previous UltraBOOST models, the new line takes the design and function from those models and incorporated a newly developed PrimeKnit composition that’s designed for reduced stretch, to provide runners with a prime additional support. Featuring a hi-tech Fit Counter integrated within the heel of the silhouette, it will enable free movement of the Achilles tendon while complementing the built-in BOOST midsole, providing those who wear it with adaptability, cushioning and energy return, which makes the shoes truly unique.

For the females out there, the UltraBOOST X takes learnings from the UltraBOOST Uncaged and the adizero Sub2 running silhouette, in which the cage and support features are moved to the inside to give the silhouette a sleeker aesthetic for women. It fuses stunning visuals with modern and female-specific design features that includes the Adaptive Arch, which permits the PrimeKnit Upper mould to any foot while moving in sync with the wearer’s running style.

Like its counterpart, the UltraBOOST X also features the BOOST midsole sculpt to complement the Adaptive Arch design. This provides enhanced support and cushioning, alongside a 3D Sculpted Heel Counter that allows the Achilles tendon to flow vertically while keeping horizontal movements on the lockdown.

The adidas UltraBOOST and UltraBOOST X line retails for RM850 each. Cop yours on the official website here or head to major adidas stores nationwide.
