2012 marks the 40th anniversary of art rock band Roxy Music’s debut album, and in celebration of what was a lustrous musical career, the group will release an all encompassing box set. Comprised of 8 CDs and 4 DVDs the set will be released on 2 April 2012. Formed in 1971 by Bryan Ferry, who is the lead vocalist of the band, Roxy Music is made up of 4 people; the aforementioned Bryan, Andy Mackay (saxaphone, oboe), Paul Thompson (drums), and Phil Manzanera (lead guitar)

The box set will include Roxy Music’s eight full length LPs – Roxy Music (1972), For Your Pleasure (1973), Stranded (1973), Country Life (1974), Siren (19750), Manifesto (1979), Flesh and Blood (1980), and Avalon (1982). That’s not all though! They are also including “high-resolution audio” versions of the albums on DVD. And of course, bonus tracks, songs that have not been available on CD, and a number of remixes.
