Resistiv3 pres. The Return Of The Titans @ Palate Palette

It was no holds barred at the recent Resistiv3 party where bassheads came down and showed their love for the music. In this series, we got to witness a collective of old-timer DJs return to the decks and rock the grounds of Palate Palette.

Party goers began to fill up the floor and enjoy the mighty beats of drum n bass and dubstep when the first DJ got on the decks. One half of Transient Vortex, Samlaleo got the crowd going with his sound. It wasn’t bad at all for an early set. Extra bass was served as soon as Slutski (aka Six) took over the decks and pull the crowd into a frenzy, but headliner Amon (one half of JUICE DJ Quest 2005 Champion, Assault & Battery) brought the whole atmosphere to a different level by dropping some heavy tunes including dancefloor bombs from Prodigy and Pendulum.

We finally got the chance to see another returning act, SPCBR (or Spacebar) who has been in hiatus for quite a while. The music genius behind remixes of established names including They Will Kill Us All and Butterfingers did a great job in mixing his tracks, proving to us that his skills weren’t rusty. The crowd went wilder than before when a familiar tune, Kosheen’s ‘Hide You’, came on alongside his signature beats. This was followed by Resistiv3 founder Anowl, who concluded the night with his mad tunes.

It was one helluva party and we felt younger again throughout the musical journey of the titans. Mad props to the peeps behind Resistiv3! We look forward to the next one.
