Remixed club with more bounce to the ounce
Republic Bar is back and looking fly as ever. Gone is the opulent Oriental theme: the red walls and Indo-Chinese lanterns, Republic has been transformed into a mod space influenced by clubs and people in LA for the Sunway crowd. A rep from Republic informed JUICE that Repulic will stay authentic to their motto – ‘Sexy Cocktail Bar’. One other thing also stays – their famous runway entrance.

Clientele If you peeps love hip hop then this is the place to be, dawg. Designed for R&B fans and urbanites, ballers, pimps and shorties unite.

Music policy Republic’s ressie is none other than local hip hop guru DJ Fuzz. If you’ve copped some of his radioshow you’ll know what’ll be going down: hip hop, R&B, reegaeton, old school, new school, the works. Keep it locked in for international and local guest DJs too. The new Republic kick started it off with performances by the Surecut Kids from Down Under. Impressive! We tell you, they haven’t given the place this tagine without reason:  “This is where the party’s at”.

Drinks If Republic had a theme tune it would have to be ‘Blame It’ by Jamie Foxx. There’s plenty to get you bent with a glut of new cocktails like Fabulously Fruity, Flatliner, Mango Tini, Caribbean Screwdriver, Key West Looker, and Borneo Knockout to name a few.

Happy hour 5pm til 9pm.

Eats Italiannies is next door and is open from 11am til 12mn.
