Singapore’s Home Club is no more, but that isn’t stopping the city-state from inviting more luminaries from the beat scene to play in Singapore — Feedback Asia and RBMA are bringing Nosaj Thing to kyo this June! While most teenagers are getting use to their B.O and angst, Jason Chung, aka Nosaj Thing, kept himself occupied by learning basic turntable techniques and the curiosity paid off. It’s been only six years since the Low End Theory alumnus emerged into the electronic music scene, and he’s already had two full-length albums (with a third coming out on 5 May) and multiple collaborative efforts with some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Flying Lotus, and The xx, just to name a few. Jason is still firmly an indie favourite though, forthcoming album Fated is much like Drift and Home— lowtemp affairs with a penchant for the atmospherics with minimal guest vocal features.
Joined by opening act Gema (DJ set), the downtempo DJ-producer will be playing a live set for the night.
Date Saturday 6 June ’15
Venue kyo, Singapore
