The Canadian jazz quartet BADBADNOTGOOD has racked up acclaim from critics and fellow musicians on their musical acumen, where they’ve compounded jazz, hip hop, and electronic music seamlessly into a sound of their own. And they’ve done so with their live performances and album releases, one of which that received the most fervid response is their fourth album Sour Soul that was in collaboration with Ghostface Killah. The roster of luminaries doesn’t just stop there as they’ve worked with the likes of Doom, Danny Brown, and Frank Ocean. Aside from their own work, the band has production, songwriting, and sampling credits on songs by many touted artistes, for instance, Kaytranada’s ‘Weight Off’, Rihanna’s ‘Sex With Me’, and Kali Uchis’ ‘Rush’. The Lawrence Wright Jazz Ensemble will support the show and a Jazz Jam Session will be scheduled as the afterparty.
