Hardcore music is not often associated with fun (unless your idea of fun is bashing heads in the moshpit). But this Leeds-based quartet has managed to marry humorous gonzo lyrics and puns with ear-shattering music.

Particularly outstanding is ‘High Five, Swan Dive, Nose Dive’ with its odd time changes and unique verse-chorus interchange. It’s big, dumb, stupid rock that doesn’t try to cover up anything. And with song titles like ‘Back To The F*ck Yeah’ (a pun on Back To The Future) and ‘I Punched A Lion In The Throat’ (which is exactly what the album does), it’s hard to go wrong. Brilliant!
