Pothole Mysteriously Fixed After Deputy Minister Prays For It
Out of all the things people have prayed for, God seems to have favoured the wishes of this Deputy Minister who prayed for the potholes on Jalan Bukit Berlian in Bukit Rambai to be fixed.
In just 12 hours, that pothole was fixed after a photo of him praying by the pothole went viral. According to Berita Harian Online, Science, Technology and Innovation Deputy Minister Datuk Abu Bakar Mohamad Diah sat right in the middle of the road in a praying position because authorities failed to fix the bad conditions of the road. Talk about by-passing authority…
“10.40am, I pray this morning… Has the Mayor? District Officer? Councillors? came to see the potholes on Jalan Bukit Berlian that has gotten wider and used their absolute power to pave this road, before something bad befalls the people of Tangga Batu. ‘Ya Allah, please grant the wishes of your servant, amin.’ Every day I must work hard. We have to do beneficial work. The people of Tangga Batu is always in my heart.”
Naturally, the Malaysian internet was quick to respond. Check out one of the posts we dug up…
So the next time you have a flat tyre or a clogged sink, try taking a picture of yourself asking for divine intervention beside the thing that needs to be fixed–you never know–you might just get a free holy service.
