The third installation of Piring-Piring returns at the end of this month featuring live performances by OJ Law & Mystery Tapes and DJ sets by record store owners (that happen to DJ — The Man Called Uncle (Excessive Records), DJ Bawang (Tandang Store), and Nick (Hard Graft Store). Besides playing good music, there’s also a curated selection of vinyl records from these record store owners themselves that’ll be available for purchase. Of course, gotta live up to the event’s namesake after all. The good people at MyTeksi have also given us a promo code for attendees who are considering using public transport (who’s got time to find parking?); users get RM10 off their GrabCar ride just by using ‘BARLAI’ as the promo code.
