Located just above skate paradise Wheel Love is the gorgeously girly tattoo studio and boutique Pink Tattoos. Run by former copywriter Lynda Chean, Pink Tattoos looks a little like your bestest friend’s cute and quirky studio bedroom. Whether you’re waiting your turn to be at the other end of a needle, waiting for a friend or your sk8terboy boyfriend to get his swag and skills on downstairs, you could easily get lost in time sitting on the couch watching TV, eating cupcakes and trying on the funky jewelry and clothing from in-house label Brollies that are on sale.

What Following an apprenticeship at a tattoo studio in Sunway, Lynda quit advertising and made the bold decision to go full-time. It was destined; ‘Pink’ is the spelling for her Chinese name and as there’s ‘ink’ in ‘Pink’, it’s fate yo.

Tattoos The standard inking charge is RM150, but will vary according to the size, complexity and colour of your desired design. Yes, you can just walk in for a tatt too, but we recommend you make an appointment.

Shopping In-house label Brollies features handmade jewelry, vintage and vintage inspired finds, and some of the season’s key looks at affordable prices. If you’re a fan of owls as Lynda is, then you’re in for a treat – they turn up on many a necklace. Lynda’s website also shows you how to put a look together and she is frequently on hand to offer advise. Cupcakes/cakes from Cake Crumbs are available for orders too. Om nom nom.
