Pestle & Mortar Release Exclusive ‘Milo Capsule’ As A Tribute To The Brand’s Journey In Malaysia
Served at mamaks, coffee shops, restaurants, home and school, Milo has been a staple drink for most Malaysians ever since it was first introduced by Nestle to Malaysia during the 1950s. Although the drink was created in Australia by chemical engineer, Thomas Mayne from Smithtown, New South Wales, Milo has since gained popularity in our nation and Malaysia has become the world’s biggest consumer for the brand, as reported in Free Malaysia Today.
To pay homage to how Milo has played a significant part in Malaysia’s heritage for 70 years, local fashion brand Pestle and Mortar has collaborated with Milo Cans to design an exclusive 4-piece capsule that can only be obtained if individuals win a contest by Milo.
To enter the contest is easy, all you have to do is:
- Purchase a minimum of 2 milo cans or bottles
- Answer a simple true or false question
- Write your full name, MyKad number & answer on the original receipt, then send a picture of it via WhatsApp to 016 430 2318.
The contest period is until August 31st 2020. To check if you’ve won any merchandise, a list on the Milo website will be updated weekly until the end of the contest period.
Amongst the items in the capsule include a cap with an imprinted Milo can, a white hoodie with historic Milo ads from the past in Malaysia, a green t-shirt with a Milo stamp, and Milo imprinted fanny pack.
