Pestle & Mortar Clothing Collaborates With Scooby-Doo To Fuel ’90s Kids’ Nostalgia

“Jeepers!” 90’s kids, remember this Saturday morning animated show? Well, now you can rep PMC while flexing your nostalgia from August 19 onwards!

Scooby-Doo, as we all know and love, is an animated television series that started in 1969 and follows the lives of four friends and their talking dog while they solve supernatural mysteries.

Paying homage to the nostalgic roots of childhood cartoons, Pestle & Mortar Clothing (PMC) is launching a brand-new capsule with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, featuring Scooby-Doo and the gang.

If haven’t heard of them by now, are you living under a rock? Just kidding.

Pestle & Mortar Clothing isn’t just about what you wear, but also a projection of your personal lifestyle, culture and homeland. They were established in 2010 and aims to spark conversations through their designs and ultimately show the world what Southeast Asia is capable of.

CEO and co-founder of PMC, Hugh Koh, relives his childhood memories while reminiscing the days where he would wake up in the morning on weekends just to watch the next episode of Scooby-Doo.

“I’m sure a lot of people remember those Saturday mornings like I did and how the characters not only captivated us with their misadventures but also how relatable they were as personalities. I still think the phrase “Scooby-Doo….where are you??” whenever I see an image of Scooby!”

The collection features a new glow in the dark design that’s guaranteed to spook a few of your friends, and a football jersey for all the sports fans out there.

As part of the collaboration, Malaysian graffiti artist Cloakwork will be recreating Malaysia’s very own Volkswagen Combi Mystery Machine. Check out some of his work here!

Are you as excited as we are? Well then, Scooby-Dooby-Doo your way into one of their tees as soon as they release!
