Palette Palate Goes Green Today

Thirsty for JUICE content? Quench your cravings on our Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

This Tuesday, 31 March, Palate Palette hosts its monthly Green Drinks get together. No, it’s not St. Paddy’s day all over again. Taking place every last Tuesday, it’s a friendly, informal but highly informative gathering for people like you who may be interested to find out more about Green issues and getting involved.

Every month, the Changkat BB hangout will engage different people to provide input to help raise awareness and general understanding of green themed issues. This month, the drinks session commences around the topic of climate change.

Khairun Nisa Mohamed Zabidi will share information on what the International Youth Climate Movement has been up to over the last few months: from Power Shift 09 which saw 10,000 young people from across America and the world congregate in Washington DC demanding a more sustainable future, to 27-year-old Australian Kim who has already left his hometown of Brisbane to go to this year’s Climate Change talks in Copenhagen (COP 15) this December on his bicycle.

Plus, what better way of finding out what other eco-related events are happening around you soon. We trust it’s going to be eye-opening and interesting.

Green Drinks: KL kicks it off at Palate Palette TODAY, Tuesday 31 March and starts at 8pm. Palate Palette is located at 21 Jalan Mesui, off Jalan Nagasari, near Changkat Bukit Bintang.

Call 03 2142 2148 for reservations or e-mail Steve McCoy at [email protected] for all the deets. You can also find out more about the Youth Climate Movement by logging onto http://itsgettinghotinhere.org and Power Shift 2009 at www.powershift09.org.
