For one weekend, filmmaking teams were given a time frame from 7pm Friday to 7pm Sunday for the idea creation, shooting, editing, soundtrack and post production for the Ultrecht 48 Hour Project. Submissions were then screened to an audience the following week.

The ‘Best Film’ winner of the Ultrecht 48 Hour Project is Pagina 23, an original shortfilm written and made by young creatives Jeroen Houben, Tim Arts and Stefan can den Boogard that tells a story of unhappiness behind the smile of the models behind the pages of a catalogue.  Apart from snagging Best Film at the Ultrecht 48 Hour Project, Pagina 23 bagged the ‘Best Editing’ and the ‘Audience Award’ title too. Although Pagina 23 reminds us a little of a scene in Fight Club, the story is original nonetheless and the Best Film title was in our opinion, well deserved! Watch it and tell us what you think!
