What’s rarer than a gig during the dearth of events that is fasting month? Orang actually playing a solo show. Fortunately, he’s doing exactly that this Ramadhan with a forthcoming show at intimate music venue Gaslight Café & Music, whose recent bookings are beyond just its folky singer-songwriter/spoken word roots and include electronically inclined acts such as alextbh and math rock band Dirgahayu. Orang’s brand of art pop fits right in with their diverse lineup, especially so when performing his very personal EP, Everyone, live in such close proximity with the audience.
