House music fans should take note of this upcoming Ohrwurm event where it’ll see the debut of French DJ-producer Phil Weeks in KL. Touted as a house music purist, Weeks derives his sound from the genre’s birthplace Chicago while also putting some his own distinctive touches on it as well. Furthermore, his albums such as Love Affair, Yeah I Like That and Raw Instrumental have garnered him praises from critics and he also heads his own long-running label Robsoul Recordings. The event will be supported by Oki Koro, Alam & Shazan Z, and Axel Groove.
