This has been in my iTunes playlist for months now. The video, which was released recently, is NSFW (not suitable for work). So have a quick glance about first, as we we give you ‘Pon De Floor’ with Major Lazer featuring Afro Jack and VYBZ Cartel. You have been warned.

This incredibly funny video is directed by Eric Wareheim and starring Skerrit Bwoy! What you see in the video is called ‘daggering’ and not what you think it is. A dancehall dance move, you may have spied something similar in Flying Lotus’ vid for ‘Dance Floor Dale’ which featured a vomit stream of neon vomit and dirty booty dancing. Again, don’t search for the video, unless you’re in your own cubicle or space.

JUICE first blogged about Major Lazer in June and we still can’t get enough of the innovative Diplo and Switch’s Jamaican dancehall music project, Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do. This video, directed by Eric Wareheim of the surreal sketch comedians Tim and Eric has surely taken it to the next level.

There’s also something related to Major Lazer which we have hidden up our sleeves for this coming October. We can’t say what it is now but keep your eyes peeled to JUICE magazine! Ya heard?
