Summertime essentials as provided by Nike come in the form of these two pair of shoes with similar colourways but with slight differences. Meaning, you should get both anyways. We’re expecting you to already have these in your shoes to cop list if you skate and if you don’t? Just get them anyways because these shoes are la flame when worn with a pair of dark denim skinnies or even shorts.
First off are the Eric Kostons, the shoe, with its silhouette inspired by skater Eric Koston, sports ultra-lightweight Lunarlon cushioning, rubber outsole with circular flex grooves, and a pivot point at its outsole forefoot for enhanced multi-directional traction, making for a very functional skate shoe. The main draw though is the unique all-over print reminiscent of woven hacky sacks that were popular during the ‘80s.
The Stefan Janoski however, while featuring almost similar prints, still sports notable differences in terms of construction. The Stefan Janoski has always been a cross of what a boat shoe and skate shoe looks like as well as everything in between. Well received and iconic, these pairs of kicks should definitely be on the list of every JUICE reader.
Retailing at RM359 each, the Nike SB Eric Koston & Stefan Janoski ‘Hacky Sack’ are available at SHOWROOM, 0680 Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.
