This Nike Air Force 1 Looks a Lot Like Everyone’s Favourite Robot Cat Doraemon

What do you get when you combine the timeless look of the Nike Air Force 1 (AF1) with one of the most iconic anime adaptation characters in history? You get an AF1 with a fun Doraemon-inspired colourway, of course.
While we can’t confirm it’s an official collaboration between Nike and Fujiko F. Fujio (the creators of Doraemon), there’s no denying the colourway bears a striking resemblance to the beloved robot cat.
4D Pocket not included

From the get-go, this AF1 features a striking blue upper (made of rough suede), laces, and outsole, coupled with an equally striking red Nike swoosh, tongue tag, insoles, and heel tab. The rest of the shoe, including the toe box and midsole, feature a creamy, off-white leather that adds some balance to the loud appearance of the shoes.
Despite being loud, the shoes don’t look tacky in this writer’s humble opinion. While some colourways tend to be loud for the sake of being loud, these Doraemon AF1s seem to toe (hehe) a happy middle-ground. They’re just nice.

While you probably won’t want to wear them as daily beaters, they’d definitely be a welcome addition to any sneakerhead’s rotation. The colour-blocking just works.
It also helps that the shoe is made up of primary colours with the blue upper, red accents, and yellow-ish cream leather.

Unlike the robot cat you know and love, you won’t find a 4D pocket anywhere, unfortunately. Modern science just hasn’t reached that level of advancement yet. But hey, you can always pretend!
There’s not much else to say about these shoes, except for the fact that we want them really badly, 4D pocket or not.
According to Hypebeast, the shoes will have a retail price of US$125 (~RM553.53). But we’ll update this once we have confirmed Malaysian pricing closer to the release date, slated for a Spring 2025 drop.
