Air Force 1’s are one of the few things that Nike has blessed streetwear with. Iconic and ever stylish, the simplicity of the silhouette also allows for it to be experimented with vicariously over and over again, which brings us to these babies; the Nike AF1 AC ‘Gradient’ Pack. This collection sports a skateboarding style autoclave sole instead of the chunky AF1 sole, and it’s just one of those things that simply works. The finishing silhouette makes the shoe look slimmer and sleeker (now if only our chubby bodies are affected as well…). Three striking colourways are presented in the style the pack’s name suggests; the ‘Turbo Green’, or as we’d like to call it ‘Mojito Madness’, the ‘Atomic Mango’ or you can call it ‘Long Island Shoe-land’. and finally ‘Polarised Blue;, which looks like ‘The Bombay Sapphire Deluxe’. Damn, all these drink references must mean we need our weekend to come fast so we can drink our sorrows away.
