Arthur’s Day is a worldwide celebration that will be taking place on the 23rd of September, kicking off in Dublin at 5.59pm, and ending 24 hours later in our very own hometown K to the L. This special day commemorates the day that Arthur Guiness signed an astounding 9000 year lease on St James’ Gate brewery in Dublin 251 years ago. And what better way to celebrate Arthur Guinness’ legacy than with a series of music events and celebrations around the world?
This concert promises to be an unforgettable live music experience, taking place on the 24th of September at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon. Rapper and producer Timbaland was slated to headline the concert this year, but unfortunately pulled out recently due to unforeseen circumstances. The revised line up for this year will get your heart racing nonetheless; with chart toppers such as rapper Flo Rida, Jamaican American singer Sean Kingston and American pop and rnb singer-songwriter Colby O’Donis headlining the concert.
Arthur’s Day will also be featuring inspiring acts representing South East Asia’s musical talents; Asia’s leading hip hop Rock band Pop Shuvit, the beautiful Mizz Nina, sultry songbird Melissa Indot, Thai talents hip hop trio, Thaitanium; and dancefloor shaker KL’s own DJ Fuzz!
