Narcos: Mexico is Going to be a Wild Ride Filled with Chaos, Violence and Mary Jane
At this point, we’re pretty sure most of you have seen Narcos on Netflix but if you haven’t.. what are doing, Amigo? It’s a brilliant crime drama that chronicles the rise of the cocaine trade in Colombia. It’s everything you’d expect in a series dealing with the titular title–brutal, raw with excellent writing and oh… violence and drugs, lots of it.
Come November, explore the origins of the modern drug war in Narcos: Mexico. The series will go back to its roots, beginning at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganised confederation of independent growers and dealers. Yeah, we’re talking about weed here.
The trailer is wild and quite funny:
Based on true events, the series will follow the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s with Diego Luna’s (Star Wars: Rogue One) Félix Gallardo at the helm, unifying traffickers in order to build an Empire with Michael Peña’s (Ant-Man, Extinction) DEA Agent Kiki Camarena caught in the crossfire. Anyway, we can’t wait to binge the hell out of it.
Narcos: Mexico premieres on Netflix November 16. For more pop culture, keep it here at JUICE.
