Come Visit Musician-Amputee Murty’s First Tiny Desk Set This Weekend
If you’re an avid JUICE reader or a local entertainment enthusiast, you may have heard of Murty’s heartfelt journey, and how he continues to navigate the music scene as an amputee.
This singer-songwriter and comedian faced a formidable challenge in 2019 when a harrowing road accident cost him his left leg to a sand truck. In the aftermath, Murty grappled with excruciating pain and profound loss, turning each passing hour into a monumental struggle.
After enduring recurring infections and agonising pain, the physical suffering finally eased with the amputation. Yet, the loss extended beyond the tangible, marking a profound chapter in Murty’s life.
