For craic addicts….
The Irish know how to enjoy a good pint and have a great time doing it. With Mulligan’s in Permas Jaya bringing the craic to JB more than three years ago to resounding success, its sister outlet in Taman Pelangi has seen the same affable crowds since it opened over a year ago. The same Irish pub affectations are present: wood interior, fake fireplace and green and gold colours. While it lacks Permas Jaya’s indoor golf simulator, you can still watch the footie and rugby on the overhanging TVs or shoot some pool.

Clientele A mostly professional, after-work crowd.

Music policy Oldies and an unusual selection of 80s and 90s MOR covers that get louder in volume later in the night and are accompanied by inebriated singalongs by patrons.

Drinks The only place in JB you can find Guinness, Kilkenny, Tiger and Strongbow on draft. You can also get Paulaner wheat beer (natural, RM25/pint; dark, RM26/pint), and other bottled beers like Hoegaarden, Budweiser (RM18) and König Ludwig (RM23). All prices are ++.

Happy Hours All day.  Tiger RM16/mug, RM36/jug; Guinness RM20/mug, RM55/jug; Strongbow and Kilkenny RM23/mug. All prices are ++.

Eats Pork-free local and Western fare. Popular items include the nachos (RM19.90), bangers & mash (RM23.90), chicken pie (RM24.50) and beef stroganoff (RM25.90). The Weekend Roast (RM40), a platter of roast beef, mashed and roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and veggies in beef gravy is served on weekends with the soup of the day. Alternative and vegetarian meals are available upon request. All prices are ++.
