Local record label mü-nest will soon celebrate its anniversary of being in the game of pushing ambient, electronica music to the ears of many. In its nine years of operations, mü-nest has released an innumerable amount of work by local and international independent musicians, most notably the then undiscovered talent of [Post-Foetus] — or in his current incarnation, Baths — as well as our very own flica. But the label has greatly generated interest in Japan, and therefore you’d see plenty of Japanese artistes on the roster, where some of whom will be performing at the anniversary showcase. On the night’s bill, expect Marihiko Hara & Polar M, me:mo, okamotonoriaki, Poplamb, and obviously, flica, who’ll be representing on the local front. Purchase your entrance ticket and you’ll receive a random CD from the label for free. However, presale ticket prices will end on Friday 11 September.
