MTV Asia Broadcasting BET Awards 2009

After having to suffer years of seriously delayed telecast, the much-talked about BET Awards 2009 is gonna be aired on MTV, Channel 713 for Malaysian viewers this coming Sunday a mere week after the gala event. Jay-Z, Kanye West, Beyonce and sister Janet are among the stars that pay tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The award show held on 28 June was dedicated to the passing of the world’s music icon from cardiac arrest on 25 June.

This Sunday witness the achievements of African Americans in the fields of music, film, sports and more. The show, hosted by the energetic Jamie Foxx features special performances, emotional testimonials and images of the star throughout the night at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.

The 2009 BET Awards will premiere July 5, Sunday on MTV Asia at 4pm on Astro Channel 713 with repeats on Sunday, 5 July 12midnight; Monday, 6 July 7.30pm; Tuesday 7 July 11pm and Friday 10 July 9pm; Saturday 11 July 2pm; Sunday 12 July 9pm.
