Mr Oizo: Lamb’s Anger (Ed Banger)

French music producer Quentin Dupieux’s (aka Mr Oizo) 1st full length album proves that he’s not just another supporting act under the infamous Ed Banger label.

The problem with Lamb’s Anger, as with so many other dance albums, is the balancing act Mr Oizo has to endure between engaging beats and pop sensibilities. Most of the tracks tend to be heavy on the electro side with glitchy effects. It might turn off some that are not used to his chaotic hard dance but a couple of tracks with vocals in them namely ‘Steroids’ with label-mate Uffie, helps to break the monotony.
