Mr DIY Has 1,000 Job Openings & Encourages People with Disability to Apply

According to Malay Mail, Malaysia’s very own home-improvement chain, MR DIY, is offering more than 1,000 jobs to Malaysians at its stores nationwide and even executive work at its headquarters.

Its managing director, Adrian Ong, said in a statement yesterday that with over 600 stores nationwide, there are job vacancies for Malaysian citizens with relevant skill sets. The openings are for all levels from in-house promoters, cashiers to supervisors.

As for management work, Ong said, “There are also numerous openings at the senior and middle management, executive and officer and fresh graduate levels in various departments at the retailer’s headquarters”.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia certificate for cashier and promoter positions, and diploma or degree for supervisory level onwards. As an equal opportunity employer, the company encourages individuals with disabilities to apply too.
