Never has Morrissey rocked so hard since Your Arsenal in ’92. He describes Years Of Refusal as “his best work to date” even if You Are The Quarry was his 1st millionth seller. Where other artists of his time would probably try all too hard and fail miserably at making a comeback, Morrissey seems to be reclaiming his past glory with angry, defiant lyrics. From the stop-feeding-me-meds opener ‘Something Is Squeezing My Skull’ to the Smiths-esque single ‘I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris’, it isn’t hard to remember why The Moz was an icon to so many depressed teenagers.
