Modest Mouse: No One’s First, And You’re Next (Sony)

8 songs that run slightly over half an hour make up an album that is a must have for all Modest Mouse fans. You might not find any ‘Float On’ or ‘Fire It Up’ here but the album is filled with frontman Isaac Brock’s excellent songwriting.

No big rock out anthems but good ol’ classic Modest Mouse at their best. After listening to this, you’ll probably wonder why they didn’t just make 2007’s We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank a double album.
