Some say that 2011 is the year of hip hop and it’s starting to look that way even this early in the game, with a mixtape from Kartel Record’s Kro. To celebrate his recent bday, Kro from MicBandits has released a mixtape called “Before I Turn 23”. Download link and details below.

Kro didn’t come alone, he raps over beats made by SonaOne, DJ Iman, DJ Fuzz, Khaos & Twenty-II on this 11 track mixtape. Also look out for some guest rappers – Fezz and Zed Peace. We’re especially digging ‘What She Like’ and Kro’s flow on ‘Kropacalypse’. But don’t take our word for it, check it out yourself! This will surely get you amped up for MicBandits upcoming album due out in this year.
