What the fish is Webby Awards? It’s a leading international award honouring the hot ones on the internet. Established in 1996, the 13th Annual Webby Awards expands itself and honours excellence in over 100 over websites, interactive advertising, online film & video, and mobile web categories. The Webbys are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences with nearly 70 categories. We’re talking nerds in their element.

Testing on usability and functionality, the 13th Annual Webby Awards chose their honourees from over 10,000 entries and www.melissaindot.com has been selected as one of the official honourees of the ‘celebrity/fan’ category. Our very own Melissa Indot’s site is honoured alongside Cindy Crawford, MTV and Coldplay in the same category. Awesome stuff! Previous honourees included InStyle.com and Matthew McConaughey. The Tequila-Myalo Malaysia team did a great job on the website.

Melissa said, “I’m really happy with the website and I’ve always believed that it’s a great one. For such a distinguished panel of judges to agree with me is certainly an honour! The team has worked hard on it and I’m glad that they’re receiving international recognition for it. Being the only Malaysian submission to be selected as an honouree is definitely something to be proud of.” We’re proud of you too, Sa.
