WARNING: Ideas are addictive!

The Box Of Ideas is packaged and priced as a cigarette box. But instead of 20 nicotine fixes, you get 100 ideas from artists, activists and other agent provocateurs.

This is a part of several upcoming projects that attempt to engage art and popular culture through intervention and recoding. Initiated by LabDNA, the objective of this project is to address the culture of consumption and the consumption of culture. The Box Of Ideas will be promoted via luscious cigarette girls and boys embedded in social events throughout Kuala Lumpur from 27 June 2009 onwards.

Now, for your part, you are given free reign to do whatever you please with the box. Express yourself with your own design or simply write something provocative on it. There are no rules. If you are submitting text, you can send your idea via e-mail, and the good folks at LabDNA will format it into the card’s template for you. Nice!
