The appreciation of the finer things in life doesn’t just come with age, but with experience and knowledge. Rise to the occasion and next time you’re pouring yourself a glass of Martell V.S.O.P., remember these tasting notes.

Martell V.S.O.P. is a blend or “marriage” of the distinctive eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois, which together blossoms into a unique fingerprint that is cherished around the world. After two to three years of maturing, the eau-de-vie gains in complexity, perfume, aroma and taste that should arouse your senses.

Colour
Martell V.S.O.P. has a gorgeous golden amber colour.

Nose
lightly swirl your Martell V.S.O.P. around in your cognac glass. Take in the aroma. You’ll notice it has a nose best described as light grape, some wood and a warm touch of vanilla. Mmm….

Taste
Now take a sip. Let it bathe your tongue and mouth and breath it in. You’ll experience a taste that is wonderfully smooth and delightfully mellow. There is also some complexity and a hint of dry fruit.

Finish
This is the long lingering after taste that you are left with after you drink it. And it is full with a hint of sweetness and a good length.
