Hype Williams is a director, producer, and a scriptwriter you probably heard of before; he’s the guy responsible for directing Kanye West’s ‘Gold Digger’, TLC’s ‘Scrubs’, and Will Smith’s ‘Gettin’ Jiggy With It’. When he’s not making music videos for singles fans hold near and dear to their hearts, he can be found taking photographs (most notable work being Kim Kardashian’s 2007 playboy cover). This year, Williams joined Marc Jacobs’ team to direct its Fall ‘16 campaign video. The three-minute-long video features a mixture of personalities from various genres like hip hop’s beloved Missy Elliott, the antichrist superstar himself, Marilyn Manson, grunge queen Courtney Love, and more current favourites such as St. Vincent, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, and many, many more — all decked out in its latest collection, of course. The combination of celebrities can be perceived as random if looked at from the surface, but we suppose having the range of pop culture figures translates into the label being able to cater to a wider audience as opposed to others who are niche. Or perhaps we’ve been listening to too much Frank Ocean and are on a pursuit of finding deeper meanings in all that we see.

All in all though, it’s a pretty dope video, watch it below:
