Corporate art space managed by artists
With 4 floors and a huge lobby area, Map KL stands as an art space developed by Sunrise Berhad. But the gentrification stops there. The management of Map has been taken over by such forces of change like Arteri Malaysia and labDNA, and they understand that it’s equally about the indie scene as it is about corporate events.

 

Map is likely to be a place where you can find a student art exhibition, self-funded play, DIY bazaar and corporate event happening all on the same day. Divided into 2 main areas, White Box is the space’s art gallery and Black Box is its performance theater. But being run by creative people, expect rules to be broken.

Clientele We all love art, don’t we?

Drinks Art goes well with drinks, doesn’t it? No bar per se, but different event hosts may set up a watering hole accordingly.

Dress code Casual most of the time. But it really depends on the event.

Door policy Depends on event.

Open Mon-Sat 10am-6pm. Closed on Sundays.

Parking RM1 for first 3 hours. RM2 maximum per day.
