Malaysian Diving Queen Pandelela Rinong Advances To Finals In Tokyo Olympics

Will Malaysia be able to bring back a gold medal from Tokyo Olympics? All eyes will be set on Malaysian diving queen Pandelela Rinong today as she has just qualified for the women’s 10m finals.

The 28-year-old athlete had successfully completed her semi-final round, coming in 7th place with a total score of 315.75 points. However this time, she needs to give it all she’s got!

First on the list to qualify is 14-year-old China athlete Quan Hongchan leading with 415.65 points followed by American diver Delaney Schnell as with 342.75 points.

Pandelela is the only Malaysian qualifying for the finals after Cheong Jun Hoong’s exit in the preliminary on Wednesday.
