On average, each Malaysian produces 0.8kg of waste every single day. This family of four, however, only leave behind 1kg of garbage a year. After adopting their new zero-waste lifestyle, Bea Johnson and her family revealed that “they have cut their annual spending by a remarkable 40%, and they are healthier than they’ve ever been, both emotionally and physically.”

Founder of Global #ZeroWasteMovement and author of the bestseller Zero Waste Home, Bea shares her easy and practical tips on living a more environmentally conscious life (even for the busiest person). Something you should know:

  1. BYO: No disposables will be provided during the event, please bring your own bag, bottle, cutlery, plate, and mug to the event. Be the Zero Waste Hero!
  2. No Trash Bin: This is a Zero Waste Event, thus no trash bin will be placed at the event place.
  3. Public Transport: Limited parking space around and will cost you an arm and a leg. Now here’s a little secret – Dang Wangi LRT station and Medan Tuanku Monorail station is only a walking distance away.
