It’s quite a rare sight to see big alt rock acts in this part of the world, let alone a festival featuring several of them.

Maho Rasop Festival is Bangkok’s first international independent music festival. It certainly lives up to its name, having had a successful debut last year with big names like The Vaccines, Miami Horror, PREP, Sunflower Bean and Elephant Gym, just to name a few.

The festival is returning on 16 to 17 November 2019 at Live Park Rama 9, Bangkok. It welcomes a line-up packed with a well-curated mix of international, regional and local acts ranging from indie, metal, pop, hip-hop and more.

Check out the full line-up below:

Aussie psych metal band King Gizzard And The Lizard will be headlining on the first day, while UK indie darlings Bombay Bicycle Club will co-headlined day-two with The Horrors  and The Drums.

Including the headliners, there will be a total of 33 acts (holy sh*t!) that will take on 3 stages at the festival. Music aside, festival-goers can wander around and explore art installations, curated activities and go home with a merch or two for memories’ sake.

Maho Rasop means “festive celebration” in Thai, and it seems that whatever music you’re into, you’re definitely going to have a good time. Get ready for the fest by grooving out to their playlist…
