Melbourne based DJ-producer Air Max ’97 is getting some love from blogs, all lauding his music for elevating club music by putting his own unexpected spin on it, one that’s confoundingly thrilling. It’s unlike anything you’ve heard. When he is not being approached by publications and labels to do compilation mixes for them, you can find the guy playing alongside his mates at club ECS. Following his critically acclaimed Progress + Memory EP last year, Air Max ‘97’s second EP Fruit Crush was recently dropped, and now we are at the top of his international touring list. The night will also see the likes of Moslem Priest, Slutski, Space Shuttle, and Blackworm supporting the man.
