Livesounds ft. Andra And The Backbone @ Rainforest Sports Bar

Malaysian music fans swarmed the city centre when Livesounds Music Series held the first of its 3 December countdown parties, featuring regional band Andra and the Backbone and Malaysia’s very own Lightcraft.

Brought to you by SpeedZone Entertainment, the live music showcase gave Malaysian fans the exclusive opportunity to enjoy up-close-and-personal renditions of Andra and the Backbone’s top hits ‘Musnah’, ‘Sempurna’, ‘Hitamku’ and ‘Main Hati’ from their first self-titled album. In the intimate club settings of Rainforest Sports Bar in Pavilion KL, fans were also treated to songs from the band’s recently released second album Season 2. The heart-stomping live performance of ‘Tak Ada Yang Bisa’ and ‘Seperti Hidup Kembali’ had fans swinging in rock heaven.    

Opening the event was local 6-man band Lightcraft. Dubbed the Coldplay of Asia, the band of Malaysian-Indonesian origin set the stage with songs from its newly launched album Losing Northern Lights. Livesounds’ December showcase was followed with 2  live music showcases featuring Marcell and Dewi-Dewi on December 19 at Wine Room on Asian Heritage Row, and Sheila on 7 and The Rock on December 27 at Bar Sa Vanh Too, Plaza Mont Kiara.  What a way to rock out the year!
