You wouldn’t think that your Saturday coffee run could come with a live music experience

Starbucks Ampang DT has transformed its in-store space into a stage to spotlight local artists. Forget your standard gig venues; for two weekends in December, this Starbucks is where you need to be.

This entire series, known as House Blends, is part of the Starbucks Malaysia’s Kopi Creator Kolektif, a platform designed to empower local artists and foster community through music, art, and shared experiences. It’s a clean, stripped-down move designed to be the “complete opposite” of massive, loud concerts.

The goal here is community-driven connection with a focus on spotlighting emerging and iconic Malaysian talents by giving them a platform to be seen and heard.

The series kicked off with sessions in November, but there’s still two more sessions in December for those who missed it!

The upcoming sessions will feature more local talents across genre, from indie alternative-pop band to neo-soul tunes, showcasing the versatility of our local artists. It’s a line-up that promises an evening of chill music while you enjoy your favourite coffee.

These sessions are gonna be on 13 December and 20 December, from 4pm to 7pm at Starbucks Ampang DT.

These intimate  music sessions are just the beginning. Kopi Creator Kolektif will continue to spotlight Malaysian talent across music and film in the coming months, creating spaces for collaboration and cultural expression.
