Victoria Christina Hesketh has some shoes to fill. Back in 2007 she was doing time in an all-girl indie syth rock band called Dead Disco. Then in 2008 a combo of vids of her singing solo in her jammies on YouTube and a leaked track ‘Stuck On Repeat’ generated enough heat to see her pilot a rocket of a career trajectory in which as Little Boots, she was named BBC Sound Of 2009 in a poll against the likes of White Lies, Florence And The Machine and Empire Of the Sun.
