Another Australian beatmaker making waves?! The funny story is that we first had an eye on Jack Vanzet’s art – before we discovered that he was in fact a dope producer. We’re not sure which one is his day job either — which is, in fact a good thing, as he does both of them so f*cking well. On ‘Don’t You Mind’, Thrupence melds Son House’s old school vocals effortlessly with a downtempo hip hop groove — with strings to boot! Simply perfect for a chilled-out barbie and a beer.
