It certainly seems as though Maha Jeffery has completely left his heavier beginnings with To Kill A Mockingbird behind, and is focusing solely on the “jazz-blues-soul-funk-rock” multi-genre mix that lies ahead of him. His debut single ‘Sleep’ is a dreamy burner that showcases his immense musicality (both on vocals, and behind the kit to boot!), alongside Prasad on lead, and Adriel on bass. Sure, it’s not as polished as we would have it, but you can definitely see the potential that this young’un has cookin’ up — especially with the smooth melodies that come in during the chorus, and the strong vocals that Maha brings with it. An EP is in the works, and we can’t wait to see what else comes out from Maha and the guys.
