Both connected by their association with Melodiya Records, it was only a matter of time until Leo Ari’s frequent collaborator, Analog K, and the sister of the sibling half of Enterprise, Anamida, made a song together – it helps that the former played for the latter for a live show before. ‘Neko’ – the Japanese word for cat – doesn’t stray from the synth-y persuasion of Anamida’s solo tracks. However, with Analog K helming the production, it’s decidedly less influenced by her brothers’ love for French synth pop, instead opting for a sound characterised by the tropes of future bass; twinkly rises and all. The track is reportedly the first single from Analog K’s forthcoming self-titled EP.
