We first picked up on Susanna when she sang on the title track of Oblivion, collaborating with M83 for what was one of the best soundtracks of 2013. Now, she’s come back with ‘Delirious’ off her upcoming album Ten Love Songs, and if this tune is anything to go by, the album is going to set a high bar for all the other electropop records to follow this year. It’s not your regular cheery dosage of bouncy bubblegum, nor does it pretend to hide behind an aesthetic such as that. It’s cinematic, it’s dark, and it’s full of dramatic soundscapes to boot.
