Skylar Spence, fka Saint Pepsi, real name Ryan DeRobertis, will soon celebrate his debut as his current incarnation as Prom King will be released in a few weeks time. The first single off his album, ‘Can’t You See’, is a fun, bold disco tune that will be perfect for a DANGERDISKO set. However, the track follows the sort of happy-sad pop song template; the lyrics are lonesome, but it’s disguised under the weight of synthesisers. Ryan Hemsworth has taken notice and has made a remix that musically matches the words of the song. In his hands, it’s become lowtemp joint that puts Skylar’s voice in the foreground.
