We have to say, we didn’t expect anything like this from RL Grime/Clockwork/Henry Steinway, and judging from the hate on his SoundCloud – his fans aren’t too pleased with this sudden shift that’s more into Tom Krell’s territory in comparison with the usual Grime bangers. Still, this r’n’b track could represent a move into more commercial (à la Top 40) territory for the both of them. It’s a total departure from the first single off Steinway’s debut LP as RL Grime – and we like it.

Nobody’s gonna get ratchet to this though.
