It’s been six years since Mew released No More Stories Are Told Today… and soon the Danish prog rockers will debut +-. Following the the premiere of ‘Satellites‘ from their latest LP just last month, they’ve just dropped ‘Water Slides’, which is shorter in length and has less of an explosive blow to signal the band’s return to our consciousness. The whole track takes a step back from the previous release and gives us something that’s feathery light, which is enabled by Jonas Bjerre’s signature airy vocals that just refuse to be grounded. The chorus, however, has an immediate effect on you with its repetition.
